The Cardozo Hotel is the *Jewel of South Beach* owned by international superstar Gloria Estefan
and her husband/producer Emilio Estefan, Jr. The hotel is an elegantly restored Ocean Drive
landmark which it*s origin dates to 1939 when, in spite of the depression, South Beach was in
a building craze.  Notable Miami Beach architect, Henry Hohauser, designed the streamlined Art
Deco building with rounded corners and ocean liner inspired elements. The hotel was named after
Supreme Court Justice, Benjamin Cardozo.      Our recent renovation features new windows,
ethnic inspired prints, and custom wrought iron furnishings all set against a backdrop of
terra cotta walls and cherry wood flooring create a soothing retreat away from home.

Restaurant / Dining Information - The Cafe Cardozo, offers guests classic dining in a beautiful
terrace setting overlooking Ocean Drive and the Atlantic Ocean.  The Cafe Cardozo provides Free
Continental Breakfast Buffet for registered guests.  The Cafe is open for full breakfast, lunch
and dinner and provides room service for the hotel.
