On a cliff side that is 900 feet from the sea and overlooking the volcano
and nearby islands, Belvedere Hotel is situated in the island's capital of
Fira and approximately eight miles from Thira Airport, which is a 35-minute
flight from Athens. The hotel is 800 meters outside the city center and
across the road from an organized beach, accessible by underground
passageway. 
 Hotel amenities include the freeform swimming pool, poolside lawn and sun
lounges, children's pool, tennis court (hard surface), and beach lounges,
umbrellas, toilets, and showers. The main building of the hotel has a
spacious lounge, a TV room, two elevators, a mini market, a cocktail bar,
snack bar, and restaurant for buffet breakfast and dinner, with outdoor
terrace seating by the pool for an la carte lunch. Parking is available.
